Safety is our first priority. Before purchasing tandem skydiving tickets, confirm that every participant meets the posted height, weight, mobility, physical, and mental eligibility requirements. Standard maximum height is 6’2″. Guests who are 6’3″ may be considered only after advance evaluation and approval.
The maximum participant weight is 220 lb / 100 kg and the maximum participant height is 6’2″ / 188 cm. Meeting these maximum limits does not by itself guarantee eligibility. Height and weight must be proportionate in accordance with Fyrosity®’s current Height & Weight Chart and Eligibility Requirements listed in the chart above. The Ticket Holder is responsible for reviewing the applicable Height & Weight Chart before purchasing a ticket. Weather and Skydiving Operations
Southern Nevada typically offers approximately 300–320 days each year with generally favorable aviation weather, although actual skydiving conditions vary based on wind, temperature, clouds, visibility, and other operational factors. Every skydive is subject to real-time aviation weather conditions and applicable safety requirements. At Fyrosity®, safety takes priority over scheduling. Our pilots, instructors, and operations team continuously evaluate conditions before and during operations to determine whether jump operations can be conducted within established safety and operational limits.
When Skydiving Operations May Be Delayed or Postponed
Skydiving is an aviation activity, and jump operations may be delayed, temporarily suspended, postponed, or rescheduled whenever Fyrosity® determines that weather conditions are unsuitable for operations. Weather conditions that may affect operations include:
- excessive surface or upper-level winds;
- excessive temperatures unsuitable for aviation or skydiving operations;
- low cloud ceilings or reduced visibility;
- thunderstorms or lightning in the operating area;
- rain or precipitation affecting operations;
- dust storms;
- fires and smog; or
- other adverse or changing weather conditions.
Weather-related operational decisions are made by Fyrosity® management, pilots, and instructors based on current conditions, operational requirements, and aviation safety considerations. Operations may be delayed or postponed on short notice, including on the morning or day of the scheduled jump.
What Happens if Weather Prevents Your Scheduled Jump?
A weather-related postponement is not a cancellation of the purchased service. If Fyrosity® postpones your scheduled jump because weather conditions are unsuitable:
- Ticket Holders who purchased applicable Bad Weather Refund Guarantee (BWRG) protection may qualify for a refund in accordance with the BWRG Terms and Conditions.
- Ticket Holders who did not purchase applicable BWRG protection will receive a Credit Voucher for the affected jump, subject to the Fyrosity® Credit Voucher Terms and Conditions.
Travel distance, hotel reservations, airline travel, vacation plans, transportation arrangements, or other personal circumstances do not change the applicable Weather Policy.
Planning Your Activity
Although Southern Nevada generally experiences favorable aviation weather throughout much of the year, we recommend scheduling your tandem skydive early in your Las Vegas visit whenever possible. Doing so provides additional flexibility if weather requires your scheduled jump to be postponed or rescheduled to another available day during your stay.

Fyrosity® operates from Perkins Field in Overton, approximately 45–55 minutes northeast of the Las Vegas Strip. Depending on jump altitude, weather, and visibility, guests may see Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, the Virgin River, Moapa Valley, surrounding desert ranges, and portions of the broader Southwest landscape.
Transportation Options
Self-Drive or Rental Car
Driving yourself is the most flexible transportation option. Perkins Field is located at 1110 Airport Road in Overton, approximately 45–55 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip via I-15 North. Guests may use a personal vehicle, rental car, or car-sharing service. Do not travel to the Las Vegas administrative office; all skydiving activity takes place at the Overton airport.
Uber, Lyft, or Taxi
Rideshare and taxi service may be available, but return transportation from Overton can be limited. Guests using a hired driver should arrange round-trip transportation in advance or ask the driver to remain on-site until the experience is complete.
Private Car or Limousine Service
Private transportation is available for couples and groups who prefer a dedicated driver. Vehicle options may include SUVs, executive cars, limousines, and larger group vehicles. Transportation must be arranged directly with the selected provider.
What to Expect During Your Tandem Skydive
Your experience begins with check-in, document verification, and a pre-jump briefing. A tandem instructor will fit your equipment, explain the exit, freefall position, parachute flight, and landing procedure, and answer final questions before boarding the aircraft. After reaching the selected altitude, you will exit securely attached to your instructor, experience freefall, and then descend under an open parachute before landing at the drop zone.
