Weather and Skydiving Operations

Southern Nevada typically offers approximately 300–320 days each year with generally favorable aviation weather, although actual skydiving conditions vary by wind, temperature, clouds, visibility, and other operational factors. While weather interruptions are relatively uncommon, every skydive is subject to real-time aviation weather conditions and safety requirements. At Fyrosity®, safety always takes priority over scheduling. Our pilots and instructors continuously evaluate weather conditions before and during operations to ensure every jump is conducted within established safety limits.

When Skydives May Be Delayed, Canceled or Rescheduled

Skydiving is an aviation activity, and flights may be delayed, temporarily suspended, or canceled whenever conditions are considered unsuitable for safe operations. Weather conditions that may affect operations include:

• Excessive surface or upper-level winds
• Excessive temperatures unsuitable for aviation activities
• Low cloud ceilings or reduced visibility
• Thunderstorms or lightning in the operating area
• Rain or precipitation affecting flight safety
• Dust storms or other adverse weather conditions

These decisions are made solely by Fyrosity® management, pilots, and instructors based on current weather observations and aviation safety standards. Operations may be delayed or canceled on short notice, including on the morning of the scheduled activity.

What Happens if Weather Prevents Your Jump?

If weather prevents your scheduled skydive, our team will explain the options available under your ticket type, the Weather Policy, and any weather protection purchased with the reservation. Guests who purchase our Bad Weather Refund Guarantee (BWRG) before their scheduled jump may qualify for a refund in accordance with the terms of that protection. Guests who choose not to purchase BWRG are covered under our standard Weather Policy, which provides a Credit Voucher that may be used toward a future reservation, subject to the Terms and Conditions accepted during booking.

Planning Your Activity

Although Southern Nevada enjoys excellent weather throughout most of the year, we recommend scheduling your tandem skydive early in your Las Vegas vacation whenever possible. Doing so provides additional flexibility should weather require your jump to be rescheduled to another available day during your visit.
